For his distinction his parents the king and queen enfolded a small wooden box with seven precious stone along with Buddha’s bones and hairs. Now where we can see in that place seven parallel stupa are brightly standing.
The stupa is supposed to contain Gautam Buddha’s bones and hair. Thus the visitors used to remove their piece of hair and leave somewhere on the tree for good luck. You can also visit famous Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery where more than 250 monks reside today.
