After early morning breakfast, our guides will take you to Sundarijal in a private vehicle. Walking starts after 1.5 hours of driving. The trail of Nagarkot Day Hiking is very interesting as hikers will walk through green lush forests and full of water resources. Sundarijal is the drinking water supply center of half of the Kathmandu Valley. It is also the source of the holy Bagmati River. Observe the “Bagdwar” natural tap from where the Bagmati River starts. The trail consists of uphill and flatland walking through terraced farmlands and various villages.
The majority of the people living in the area are Tamang, Brahmins, Chhetris, Untouchables and Newars. Lunch will be on the way to a traditional restaurant. Once you have reached Nagarkot we will head directly to the sunset viewing place on the southern hillside of Nagarkot. The windy atmosphere and dusky evening would increase the romantic feeling inside your soul. After gazing at the sun hiding slowly behind hills on the horizon our trip ends and we will get back to Kathmandu in a private vehicle.

Start hiking- from Sankhu to Nagarkot at 8:30 am. The Sankhu to Nagarkot hike takes around three hours. As you rich to the top of Nagarkot then you will get a chance to explore memorable life experiences with a glimpse of the Himalayas of Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Gauri Shankar, Langtang and Everest ranges.
Drive Back to Boudha at 5:00 pm
