If you want to experience beauty in front of your eyes, Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the right way to go. A short excursion to witness some of the most beautiful mountains, Annapurna Base Camp Trek could be a dream come true with Karma Eco Adventure Nepal. As often called, 10 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is a moderate trek with brilliant views. Trekkers need to be fit to finish the trek. Any trek that goes 7 days could be tough due to the number of days you need to spend within the mountains.

Highlights of Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

    • Rhododendron forest along with Oak trees during the trek.

    • Chance to enjoy Machapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp at the same time

    • The beauty of cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara

    • Beautiful sunrise view from Poonhill along with stunning mountain ranges

How Difficult is Annapurna Base Camp Trekking?

Just to be very clear, Annapurna Base Camp Trek isn’t very difficult. There is no requirement for technical climbing skills if you are planning for an ABC trek. But physical fitness is the key for every trekker. Karma Eco Adventure Nepal will assist the trekkers in planning the trek pretty well. Some of the trekkers might cope with altitude sickness but being able to complete the trek isn’t impossible. It is a moderate trek.

For 8 days, you will have to trek 6 hours every day which makes the journey hard and easy at the same time. But with the easier trails, trekking is much easier. Added to that you will also have to stay in teahouses with the most basic facilities.

Food and Accommodation During ABC Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a well-established trail. You will find plenty of accommodation facilities in the region. Similarly talking about food during the Annapurna Base Camp Trek you will find the most basic food.

Karma Eco Adventure will provide trekkers with three meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During your time in Pokhara and Kathmandu, you will find a major variety of food but things change on the trekking trail.

From authentic Nepali food to Indian and some Western items, the food variety is limited as we go higher. Interestingly the cost of the food could also get expensive. In like manner talking about the accommodation during the Annapurna Base Camp trek, you will find the finest services at Kathmandu and Pokhara. But as we enter the Annapurna region, the accommodation is basic.

Although ABC trek is an established trail you will have to spend time at tea houses and also a basic lodge over 10 days. There are shared washrooms but separate beds. Focusing on the trek, some aspects need to be compromised.

Cost of Annapurna Base Camp Trek

It is very hard to calculate the actual cost of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The cost of the ABC trek is different in different situations. If you have a larger group the package and cost could be customized. The overall cost during the spring trek could be cheap compared to the winter trek.

So, it is very tough to say the exact number. However, if the trekkers are interested in knowing in detail, always feel free to connect with Karma Eco Adventure Nepal. We will provide you with details and guide you through the overall trek.

Best Time of The Year for ABC Trek

For anyone planning to trek in Nepal, autumn and spring is the best time.  These seasons fall during the months of March-May and September to November. During the spring and autumn seasons, you have clear skies, beautiful weather, and less change in the weather. The trails are clean and the mood of the local community also stays better which makes the journey more worthwhile.

From blooming rhododendrons to festival celebrations, spring and autumn is the perfect gateway for any trekkers to say the least. By this Karma Eco Adventure doesn’t mean summer and winter treks are impossible at Annapurna Base Camp. The only reason is that the weather remains unstable and you would have to pack more.

Not only that the chances of viewing the mountains tend to diminish when we talk about monsoon season. However, you will find empty treks without much traffic.

Reasons to Book ABC Trek with Karma Eco Adventure Nepal?

There are plenty of trekking agencies in Kathmandu. It is not important that you have to book with Karma Eco Adventure Nepal. But you have to understand that the facilities provided to us are very different. Along with no hidden charge we provide the trekkers with trekkers with the most beautiful experience they could ever imagine. The main reasons to choose Karma Eco Adventure are:

    • Different packages for different guests based on their needs.

    • Celebrate local festivals and events with the community.

    • The practice of zero-waste tourism

Permits Required for Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Permits are the key if you want to trek and travel in Nepal. All the trekkers need to have the perfect permits to have a smooth ride. Two permits will be needed for the ABC trek. The first one will be a Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) card. Similarly, trekkers need to have an Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Permit. You can receive the permits from the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

The first permit is required for the systematic entry of the trekkers. But the second one is for the visit to the Annapurna region. They didn’t cost too high. A lot of the time, trekking agencies manage all of these permits for their guests. Sadly, if your trekking agency doesn’t do it you will have to find the permits yourself.

    Conclusion

Annapurna Base Camp Trek isn’t the hardest trek, but it can’t be taken lightly. You will need to do smaller treks before joining the ABC trek. Proper physical fitness is the key. However, you must contact a medical professional to get the clearance if you have any health conditions.

Readers will have the opportunity to view the 10th tallest mountain in the world. With brilliant trekking agencies like Eco Karma Adventure Nepal, all you have to do is worry about enjoying the trek holiday to the fullest.
